Sekou Doumbouya is the only non-American player going in the first round, but I certainly think more is possible. I considered a couple of others, but prior to the NBA Draft combine this is where things stand, but at least a few others could work there way into the first round.
He should be able to come in and help right away, especially on the defensive end of the floor. The Los Angeles Lakers are a team that really struggled on that end so they certainly should be looking to improve in that area for next season.
They have a lot of question marks going into the season and with a possible Anthony Davis happening they may have a lot of minutes opening up for guys. There is a good chance this pick would be involved though so that is a situation to following leading up to the Draft.
He has a lot of the physical tools required to be successful in the NBA. He does have a lot to grow in as well and any team that drafts him will understand that. When teams draft foreign prospects the fans are very skeptical, but drafting Doumbouya here would be a good selection to make.
