NBA Draft 2019: Mock Draft 1.0
By Chris Kern
Nassir Little had a disappointing season at North Carolina, but he did have some really good moments that should keep him in the top 10 of the draft. The majority of these teams are going to be drafting based off potential and he still has all the tools to be great one day.
He has all the physical tools to be a good pro and sometimes that is more important than production at the college level. The NBA teams will need to see him do well at the draft combine, but if he does then he has a good chance to go this high in the NBA Draft.
He came off the bench in all 36 games of his college season and he averaged 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Those aren’t numbers worthy of being selected this high normally, but the Atlanta Hawks could be an exception.
They also have another pick higher than this and they do have a need on the wing so the fit is there for Little. They have the time to be patient with him as he develops his game so they should be fine with him needing a year or two to become a good player.
