The Memphis Grizzlies used their second-round pick on Jevon Carter in the 2018 NBA Draft. He had some struggles in his rookie season, but overall it was a success.

Jevon Carter came into his rookie season with the Memphis Grizzlies without a role in the rotation. He spent a lot of this season with the Memphis Hustle in the G-League. He had some stuff he needed to continue to work on, especially on the offensive end of the floor.

His time in the NBA would come and he would make an impact on the defensive end of the floor right away. He played in 39 NBA games this season and averaged just 4.4 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game.

Just because he didn’t put up big numbers doesn’t mean he wasn’t impactful though. His ability to harass opponents was on full display every time he stepped on the floor. He often provided a spark for this team when he did so and got the rest of the guys playing harder.
