Memphis has to start off by making their own decisions about what they want to do this summer. Trading Mike Conley is likely to be near the top of their list, but they need to set a price that teams need to meet in order to get a deal done.
The Grizzlies will likely try to get a deal done, but he still has two full seasons left on his contract so they shouldn’t feel any need to make a deal if it isn’t close to the value in return they would like. They got a good deal for Marc Gasol during the season and they will want more than that in a deal for Conley.

They are starting their rebuild around Jaren Jackson Jr. and he has all the tools to be a superstar in this league. If they’re able to build a good team around him then they will have a chance to become a playoff contender quickly.
