The Memphis Grizzlies are set to draft Ja Morant with the No. 2 pick, but they also have some other players they should keep an eye on in the NBA Draft.

The Memphis Grizzlies are locked in on drafting Ja Morant with the 2nd overall pick and that gives them an opportunity to focus on other areas in the NBA Draft. They don’t have a second round pick, but they still have different ways that they can get back into the draft. If they were to acquire another pick that would give them a chance to select another quality young player.

This isn’t thought of as an extremely deep class, but there certainly are good players for them to draft if they were to get an additional pick. There are a lot of good players who will be available later on in the draft and that’s a place the Grizzlies could find some young talent to add to their young core.

Emotions are still high after seeing the Memphis Grizzlies receive the most important and luckiest draft pick in franchise history, guys like myself are watching more Ja Morant film than anything else. He is a special talent, but bringing in other quality rookies could be key as well.

Here lies a small list of prospects with top-five draft pick type of talent, but for one reason or another is expected to fall in next months draft. Here we will break down both what makes them so talented and why are they expected to slide below such an evaluation of their respective talents.

If a quality frontcourt player would be available then they certainly could look to pair them with Jaren Jackson Jr. Here are three players the Grizzlies could target if they were interested in trading for an additional draft pick.
