The big stage is set for the incoming rookie class. Where will all the top prospects land in the 2019 NBA Draft? Here is a collaborative NBA Mock Draft.

The 2019 NBA Draft is officially just one day away. For the Memphis Grizzlies, this is going to be another huge milestone in the team’s history. Whether for good or for worse, June 20th will always be referenced as the Grizzlies hold ownership of the No. 2 overall pick. So, who will the choose?

Being No. 2 overall, the Grizzlies will have all but one player to choose from within the field of rookies-to-be. While they have the chance to select a superstar, an NBA All-Star, they have issues in the past while holding the same opportunity in their palms. As Memphis looks to rebuild, this is a decision they absolutely cannot blow.

Their decision is not so much about drafting for a position of need. This is the perfect time to draft based on best available talent as this is a chance to build around a new face who happens to be a star talent. However, best available may also fulfill a position of need simultaneously.

The NBA Draft is always full of surprises, so will the Grizzlies get in on the excitement this way, or will they stay the course and play it safe with, say, Murray State’s Ja Morant? Will Memphis decide to go in a different direction and choose a player in R.J. Barrett that does not want to play for the Grizzlies, yet persuade him with their southern hospitality?

While the possibilities are endless, the Beale Street Bears crew has put forth a collaborative effort to predict the 2019 NBA Draft pick-by-pick. Behold the selections made by Ed Wilson, Blake Monroe, AJ Salah, Jeremy Morris, Christian Dudley, and Elbert Hubbard Jr., which will define the Grizzlies for the years and perhaps decades to come.
