Brandon Clarke is a combo big out of Gonzaga University. He is undersized as a big, but very effective on the floor. He has a standing reach of eight feet and his leaping ability and athleticism could make him a huge asset defensively. In speaking of his defensive skills, he can get steals and blocks from anywhere on the floor. He is a strong double-double rebounds and points guy.

Clarke is comparable to Paul Millsap with his rebounding and work ethic something Al Horford from the Boston Celtics could use on the low block, especially, since Al and Paul were teammates in Atlanta.

Clarke can create space for Horford going to the basket. He could probably help on the weak side and get the rebound. He lacks strength and size in weight and he has not had a consistent jumper or scoring numbers. If he could improve offensively, he could be a role player or Sixth Man that can help the Celtics as a whole. He also can finish in traffic and finish in the pick-‘n’-roll scheme. This is something that Kyrie Irving or Terry Rozier needs in order to get to the rim or score from deep. Clarke’s main problem is his size in the post. If he could add weight he could be a role-playing big off the bench.
