Tennessee. 41. Scouting Report. Guard/Forward. Admiral Schofield. 28. player. Pick Analysis

This NBA prospect is hopeful for a huge NBA career. What better way to make a name for yourself than on one of the greatest teams in the league? To their credit, the Golden State Warriors have grown their talent in the past. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry are prime examples. These players are household names now, largely in part of successful development practices. This could become the situation for Admiral Schofield.

In Tennessee, he is a star. His four years at the University of Tennessee proved tremendous for him. Increasing his stats each year. First-Team All-SEC this year. Underdog rookie phenomenon next year?

During his college tenure, Schofield put up 16.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. These are creditable numbers going into a competitive NBA Western Conference. Schofield would make a great player to lead the Warriors’ bench. He makes for a reliable backup to Thompson, both on offense and defense. Throughout his career, Schofield was able to increase the speed of his game as well as his accuracy from behind the arc, thus making him a great catch-and-shoot player. These same characteristics are shared with Thompson.

Will he be able to take the torch from the five-time All-Star in Thompson’s absence? More than likely not, but he has the ability to be The Bay’s hopeful light in the upcoming season.
