Andre Emmett

Andre Emmett was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies from the start of his NBA career after being traded to the 901 by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2004. The second-round pick was buried on the bench, thus appearing in just eight regular season games in his rookie year.

Though Emmett did not accomplish much with that particular Grizzlies group, he became molded into the consummate professional baller in a variety of leagues. Memphis propeled him to his current position today — tearing it up in the BIG3 league.

Emmett was one of the best players in BIG3 Season Two, which goes to show that you should never judge a book by its cover. Though he is not a household name, he was a dominant force for 3’s Company one year ago. The same should be expected of him in 2019, though opponents will be sure to bring a double-team when he goes to drive into the lane.
