Drew Gooden

Drew Gooden originally landed with the Memphis Grizzlies via the NBA Draft in 2002. Though he did not become the NBA superstar that many thought he would become out of Kansas, Gooden produced a lengthy and productive professional hoops career.

For the Grizzlies, he played just 51 games in Memphis prior to being traded midseason to the Orlando Magic. Still, Memphis provided the foundation for what became a stellar professional career as a role player and occasional starter on some contending teams.

Gooden has been a BIG3 mainstay and fans should expect to see more from him in Season Three. Even today, at the age of 37, he is mobile and has good hands for the ball. He needs to be a a big post presence on both ends of the floor in order to give his team (3’s Company) a legitimate shot at a BIG3 title in 2019.
