3. Jonas Valanciunas

Team Lithuania is 2-0 in pool play, anchored by some stellar basketball from Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas has averaged 13 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in victories over Senegal and Canada (+57 on the court in those two games), and he’s done it on a mind-boggling 85% clip from the field. While the ink is still wet on Valanciunas’s three-year, $45 million contract with Memphis, he’s looked very impressive in China, hopefully foreshadowing a long and successful tenure in the Bluff City.
