The Memphis Grizzlies have built a solid roster, which will serve the team well in their rebuilding efforts. But with Cavaliers star Kevin Love officially on the trade block, would it be a smart idea to trade for him?
The Memphis Grizzlies, with a strong roster built from free agency and the draft, are poised to be one of the teams with the highest potential, which should pay off over the next couple of years. However, one of the aspects to a successful young team that the Grizzlies are missing is a veteran presence. The best players that they have to fill those roles currently are Jonas Valanciunas and Jae Crowder, and neither of them would have the expert know-how that Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, and Vince Carter brought to their teams.
One player that could fill that role better is Kevin Love. The Cleveland Cavaliers star was recently officially put on the trading block, and the internet has been buzzing about where he will end up, to possibly play out the final years of his career. One of those places, potentially, cold be the Memphis Grizzlies.
But should Memphis consider offering the Cavaliers a package for the star big man? What are the advantages of a trade?
