The Memphis Grizzlies are having a phenomenal season, and are performing better than anybody could’ve though. But where are they in terms of the youngest NBA teams?

The Memphis Grizzlies have been on a roll lately, on a six game winning streak, and having won eight of their last 10 games.

What’s even more shocking is the fact that Memphis is such a young team. The Grizzlies have the third youngest team in the league, and yet they seem to be holding their own against some of the top-tier teams in the league.

If you look at the first, second, and fourth youngest teams in the league (The Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Chicago Bulls respectively), they’re all finding themselves struggling to make waves in the league. Each of those three teams are ranked lower than Memphis, and none of them are in the playoff race in their respective conference.

Despite any troubles young teams might historically have had when trying to find their own way in the league, Memphis doesn’t seem to be experiencing these. What are some things that set them apart from the other youthful squads in the NBA, and how can this run continue?
