When the Memphis Grizzlies got Andre Iguodala during the summer of 2019, the thought was that it would only be a short-term stint and he’d be gone by the start of January.

34 days later, and yeah, that hasn’t been the case.

Iguodala is still a weight on Memphis’ pocketbook, and what’s worse, he hasn’t played in a single game in the season.

With the trade deadline rapidly approaching, Memphis is sure to be in a frenzy right now as they try to move Iguodala before he stays with the team for the rest of the season. Still though, it’s interesting to see why he hasn’t been part of a major deal by now.
