The Memphis Grizzlies will travel to Texas to take on the Dallas Mavericks tonight in the second of four meetings. What are some of the biggest story lines of the game?

The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Dallas Mavericks in the second of four games between the two divisional rivals.

Last time these two teams met, on Saturday, Nov. 9th, the Mavericks were able to out play the Grizzlies, and took a 138-122 road victory.

In that game, the Grizzlies were missing point guard Ja Morant due to load management, and so they relied on the starting ability of Tyus Jones. And, like I’ve been saying for years now, he didn’t disappoint.

Jones recorded 14 points and 8 assists on 6-8 shooting, and his play helped some of his other teammates production, such as

Jaren Jackson

Jr. who recorded 23 points on 10-17 shooting.

It’s likely that the only reason that the Grizzlies lost the last game because they were without the offensive firepower that Ja Morant provides to this Grizzlies rotation. Now that he’s facing the Mavericks, and the Grizzlies are on a role, what are some of the biggest things to pay attention to in this game?
