Memphis Grizzlies: What the players have been doing during the hiatus

3. Ja Morant: Video Games and TikTok
Ja Morant has had an outstanding year, and the fact that the suspension threatens to overshadow that for everybody really is a tragedy. As someone who was very much an afterthought for the Rookie of the Year award next to Zion Williamson, when Williamson got injured in the preseason, Morant saw his opportunity to show everybody just how good his game is and didn’t pass it up.
One thing we’ve all for sure seen by now is that Morant has an obvious love for the game, so naturally, it’s going to be hard for him to sit still during this hiatus. Recently, he took to the video sharing site TikTok to get his in-game fix, sharing the video on Twitter:

His love for the game has also driven him to watching old highlights on YouTube, and according to Morant, he could walk you through every play:

Along with pinning for the return of the season, Morant is also spending his times playing video games; something which a lot of NBA players seem to be turning to. However, it doesn’t seem to be going as well for him as the season is. He took to Twitter a few days ago to share his progress, while simultaneously urging the season forward:
