No. 3: Justise Winslow

The Grizzlies took a huge risk when they made a trade to the Miami Heat to acquire Justise Winslow and Dion Waiters. Although they’d later waive Waiters, there are still a number of questions that surround Winslow’s game.

Outside of injuries however, which are a major concern, Winslows is still a player that Memphis was right to roll the dice on. Last season, when Winslow played in 66 games, he averaged 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 43.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from 3-point range, and 62.8 from the free throw line.

For an undersized forward, Winslows aggression and his determination to make an impact on the floor will go a long ways towards helping the Grizzlies, whether he is providing some relief off the bench or is putting pressure on the opponents as a member of the starting rotation.

While Winslow aggressive style of play can be a double-edged sword, as it can also lead to more injuries, it could also provide some immense pressure to the Grizzlies opponents, and give Memphis a shot of adrenaline when the pace starts to slow down.
