With the NBA back, here are the most exciting Memphis Grizzlies matchups.

Over the weekend, ESPN has been reporting on the NBA’s return to play plans to resume the season at Walt Disney World’s Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando Florida. Teams in the playoff picture, including the Memphis Grizzlies, along with six teams within six games of the eighth seed are invited to compete in the “bubble city”.

On Saturday, some more details came out regarding the plans for return. It seems as if the NBA is eyeing an eight-game conclusion to the regular season, with a potential play-in tournament for any teams within four games of the eighth seed after those for games.

With this system laid out, most NBA fans minds begin to run wild with potential matchups that this setup would allow for. And for the Grizzlies, there’s no shortage of matchups that would be incredibly fun to watch.

It’s likely that the eight games each team will play will be against teams close to them in the standings, as the shortened NBA season was developed to help teams secure their seeding in the postseason. For Memphis, that creates some very intriguing matchups, that would not only be entertaining to watch, but could have huge playoff implications.
