This season, the Spurs are playing for much more than a chance to make the playoffs. San Antonio has the longest active playoff streak in North American sports currently, sitting at an astounding 22 straight years, and this season is the closest the team has ever come to having just 82 games in a season. It’s arguable that, without this season hiatus, the Spurs phenomenal playoff run would have come to an end.

However, just because they’re playing for a historic playoff run, doesn’t mean that the Spurs are going to have a particularly easy road. San Antonio doesn’t have any easy two-game stretches, with the easiest one arguably being their first two games against the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies.

If the Spurs want to play some postseason basketball, they’re going to have to outplay some of the toughest competition in their conference, and work against a difficult -6 opponent score.
