No. 18: The Philadelphia 76ers

Schedule Score: -0.4

It’s Philly vs. Everybody, or at least that’s how it would seem looking at the Sixers schedule. The only opponents the 76ers have a winning record against are the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers, and all but two of their opponents–the Washington Wizards and the Phoenix Suns–are in the current playoff picture.

Still, with questions abound about how well Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons can function together, this may be the team’s best time to prove it. And they’ve been given a little bit of a starting boost, with their first three games coming against the Indiana Pacers, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Washington Wizards; all of which are completely winnable games for Philadelphia.

The City of Brotherly Love may not have gotten much love from the press or some of their rival teams this season, but they certainly got a little gift from the schedule makers as the Sixers will face just two of the five teams that rank above them in the Eastern Conference standings.
