Winners and Losers: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Miami Heat
By Ethan Becker
Winner: Ja Morant
To suggest that Ja Morant is capable of taking over any game at any particular moment would be a little redundant, if not a bit of an understatement, but still, this game was something else for the leading Rookie of the Year candidate.
Morant tallied up 22 points, 12 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal in this game, and went through the game on 60.0 percent field goal shooting and 66.7 percent 3-point shooting. To go along with that, Morant also put up some highlight reel dunks, though none were probably as good as the one he had in the first quarter:

After a few months of break from any sort of play, it seems like Morant has been itching to get back to the court, and after seeing him in this game, it seems like JA12 is going to try to make up for some lost time.
The performance was so good that Morant was the center of national attention, as he went trending on Twitter during the game, and his play will almost certainly be the talk of many mainstream sports news outlets this morning.
