The Memphis Grizzlies will take on the San Antonio Spurs in their second seeding game in Orlando. What are the top storylines to follow heading into the game?
In what will be the second of eight seeding games in Orlando for both teams, the Memphis Grizzlies will face the San Antonio Spurs. Although Memphis came into Orlando seeded higher than San Antonio, the Grizzlies and the Spurs have had nearly similar results since joining the bubble.
Both teams lost their first two scrimmages, and then won their final scrimmage. Both of those wins even happened to be on the final day of the NBA scrimmages. However, since the regular season has begun, there has been a slight deviation.
While the Spurs won their first game, the Grizzlies struggled through the first half of theirs, came back, took the lead, and then dropped it in overtime. If these last few games have proven anything, it’s that there is no room for error, and the Spurs should not be overlooked.
So, with that in mind, what are some of the biggest storylines heading into the game? Who’s going to be looking to capitalize, and is anybody’s season in danger?
