Memphis Grizzlies: 3 storylines for the Pelicans game

The Memphis Grizzlies will play in what could be their most important seeding game of the series, what are some of the biggest stories in the game?

While Ja Morant and Zion Williamson may not have a heated rivalry, the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans certainly do, and this game is definitely one that the team has circled with a big, red sharpie.

Still, the seeding games up to this point haven’t gone as everybody would’ve thought. Memphis stumbled a bit out of the gate losing their first two to the Blazers and Spurs, and the Pelicans dropped the season re-opener to the Utah Jazz in a nailbitter, before being absolutely tossed by the LA Clippers.

These two loses have put the Pelicans in a tough spot, but Memphis is still fighting for control of that eighth seed. There’s a lot going into this game, and as always, there are more than a couple of stories which will play out before our eyes tonight on ESPN.
