Memphis Grizzlies: 3 storylines for game against Jazz

With the Memphis Grizzlies taking on the Utah Jazz this afternoon, what are some of the key stories heading into this game?

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to right the ship as they go up against the Utah Jazz at 1:30 PM CST  today. This game will mark the halfway point for the Grizzlies eight seeding games, and will likely set the tone for the back half of the restart project for the Grizzlies.

While the game is incredibly important for Memphis, it’s far less so far the Jazz. Utah will undoubtedly make the postseason, and right now is simple playing to decide if they will go into the playoffs as a four, five, or six seed. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are in the fight of their lives to try to make the playoffs as a team many wrote off before the season as a lottery team.

But aside from the playoff race (though we’ll touch on it a bit later) there are still a lot of big stories that are going on in this game, some of which will be decided by the outcome. What are some of the biggest storylines that this game will help decide? And how will winning affect either team?
