The Memphis Grizzlies are in the fight of their lives tonight. Here’s what needs to happen for the team to stay alive.

Tonight, the Memphis Grizzlies are going to be in the fight for their season. In a game where if the Grizzlies lose they’re more than likely done for the season, the basketball gods have graced Memphis with an advantage, as Giannis Antetokounmpo’s ill-advised head but against the Washington Wizard’s Mo Wagner.

Still, every other team in the eighth seed race will be playing tomorrow, and depending on the outcome of those games, the eighth and ninth seed may slip from the Grizzlies.

If Memphis doesn’t make the playoffs, this season likely isn’t considered a failure. A few key injuries to Grizzly players hurt their chances in their bubble games, and not only that, but many didn’t consider Memphis to have any sort of chance at making the western conference playoffs.

Regardless of that, missing the playoffs would still be incredibly disappointing to Memphis fans, as the Grizzlies spent a large portion of the 2019-2020 season in the eighth seed. But, there is still a way, and there’s a chance that they will even be able to sneak back into the eighth seed, and go into the NBA playoffs.
