The Memphis Grizzlies landed two players in the 2020 NBA Draft, and reached free-agent agreements with some undrafted talent.
Unlike the last two years, the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t get a top-5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. They didn’t have a lottery pick, despite missing the playoffs last season. The Grizzlies didn’t even enter the draft with a first-round pick.
Memphis managed to trade their way into the final pick of the first round, however, then turned their original No. 40 pick in the second round into the 35th pick.
With the 30th pick, the Grizzlies took TCU guard Desmond Bane. With the 35th pick, the Grizzlies landed Michigan State forward/center Xavier Tillman.
After the draft, the Grizzlies signed Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie, Butler guard Sean McDermott, and Pacific guard Jahlil Tripp.
