Kyle Anderson continues to impress

If you were curious, the answer is yes. I absolutely just made up a nickname for Kyle Anderson. No, it may not be the best nickname and it might not even be a very good play on words, but how could I resist?

Kyle Anderson didn’t just have a good performance, he had arguably the most efficient game from any Grizzly that we’ve seen this year. With 20 points (on 11 shots), 5 assists, and 5 rebounds, he was making an impact all over the court. And those numbers don’t even begin to show the impact that he had on the defensive end.

I’m going to make up another expression here while I’m at it: half quadruple-double. Last night, Kyle Anderson invented the half quadruple-double. To add to his 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds, he also put up 5 steals in the game. Yes, you’re reading that right. Tack on a block to those stats and he played one of the most efficient, complete performances in the NBA this month.

How do you not fall in love with this guy? From a player who was struggling to make any sort of impact on the court to a guy that is now leading the team to wins, Anderson is one of the better storylines this year in Memphis.
