The Memphis Grizzlies are rolling. After a rough stretch for the team, they bounced back, splitting a series with one of the best teams in the league in the Los Angeles Clippers. They followed this with a historic win against a struggling Houston Rockets team where they broke a new team record for margin of victory with a 49-point win.

They’ll look to continue their success against a struggling Washington Wizards team that closer to being in last place in their conference than they are to an NBA Playoff spot. That being said, this is still a team with some star-power.

Specifically, those stars go by the name of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, who combined for 70 points and 18 assists in their last outing. They still took a loss, but their basketball talent cannot be ignored by Ja Morant‘s young team.

The Memphis Grizzlies are facing an ice-cold Washington Wizards team. How will they perform on Tuesday night? Our staff weighs in.

Jack Williams: Regardless of the final score, this should be a great game. The Wizards have struggled for most of this season, but they haven’t made it easy for opposing teams. If the Memphis Grizzlies can contain Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, they should be able to get the win. It’ll be tight the whole way through, but the Grizz will get the win.

Final Score: Grizzlies 114, Wizards 107

Brandon Martinez: What this game really comes down to is if Beal will carry the load once again. When he has to, generally the Wizards fall short. With the Grizzlies’ iffy perimeter defense, they may struggle to keep Beal and Bertans in check from the arc. However, the Wizards struggle with fouling a lot. I expect the Grizzlies to be very aggressive down low and win it in the paint.

Final Score: Wizards 101, Grizzlies 112

Taylor Goebel: The Wizards may have all-star guard Bradley Beal, who leads the NBA in PPG at the moment, however, the Wizards as a team have fell short of expectations after trading for Russell Westbrook in the offseason. They are currently 13-19, and 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are coming off of a huge 49-point victory and have a huge head of steam to go with it. Expect a big game from Beal, but look for the Memphis Grizzlies to handle the Wizards.

Final Score: Grizzlies 126 Wizards 119

Max Chronister: The Wizards came up short in their last game despite Bradley Beal’s huge scoring outage. It should be interesting to see how the tension of the Wizards’ locker room transfers over to the court in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies, who are coming off a blowout win against the Rockets. I see the Grizzlies staying solid in this game. They’ll bring along that hard nosed play to the floor and rock the Wizards.

Final Score: Grizzlies 108, Wizards 88
