Memphis Grizzlies goal No. 1: Find a good rotation

Those who have been watching basketball for a long time know that a team’s rotation can be the death of them. If you can’t find the right guys to rely on, you will most likely blunder.

The Grizzlies have managed to make things work without narrowing down their lineup so far, but this can’t and won’t last long. As JJJ returns, they’ll need to find some stability, giving their top guys more minutes and rotational players less minutes.

This is the blueprint for every great basketball team, and a goal that the Grizzlies need to set for themselves for the rest of the year. Ideally, we’d see Ja Morant, JJJ, Jonas Valanciunas, Kyle Anderson, and Dillon Brooks as the main contributors, with Justise Winslow as the 6th man. Anybody beyond that should have reduced minutes as this team hits their stride.

That being said, this rotation could involve anybody else, as long as the best guys on the team are getting the most playing time. This could take some time, as the middle-tier players on the Grizzlies have all been playing excellent basketball.
