Memphis Grizzlies PF Brandon Clarke has become one of the most underrated players on the roster

How is it that someone like Brandon Clarke, one of the most consistent players on the team, has become so overlooked? The consistency may be why.

Clarke brings a lot of good qualities to the table. He’s young, energetic, he has lob finishing ability, and he can bring it defensively. He can even step out and hit a three every so often.

Brandon has a nice mix of knowing when to shoot, yet remaining aggressive. Clarke is also great at looking to get second chance opportunities. He ranks among the top in the team in offensive rebound percentage and total rebound percentage.

Perhaps Clarke’s best quality is actually being able to keep the ball moving while not turning it over. Brandon Clarke leads the NBA with the lowest turnover percentage with an impressive 4.6%. He is also top five in the team in win shares.

He really just does it all, and does it all with flair. His game brings more than just smart scoring, rebounding, and defense. He brings energy and toughness, the kind that Memphis was made from.
