Memphis Grizzlies SG Grayson Allen has become one of the better shooters on the team

Another player who has made a great impact offensively is sharpshooter Grayson Allen.

Grayson arrived before last season as he was involved in the trade that sent Grizzly legend Mike Conley to the Jazz.

Allen has always been known for his ability to shoot and he hasn’t disappointed. He is currently 5th on the team in three-point percentage and 2nd in free-throw percentage, and let’s just say Grayson loves the three-point shot. He leads the team in three-point attempt rate. Almost 69% of his shots are from behind the arc and he hits them at a fairly good clip (40.7%).

Another aspect of his game he is good at is not turning the ball over, having on of the lowest turnover rates on the team, while still having a decent assist rate.

However, Grayson hasn’t really made a big jump in any part of his game yet. He still has shown improvement, but nothing eye-catching. This is what keeps Allen from getting a better grade, he is a great shooter and a good passer, but he hasn’t shown major improvement in any other area of his game.

Overall, Allen has had a solid first half of the season, and hopefully he can find more ways to make an impact on the floor post-break.
