Memphis Grizzlies PF Kyle Anderson has been a breakout star this season

It was only a matter of time before Kyle Anderson had his breakthrough, and what good timing it was.

Kyle has stepped up more than anyone else in a season with such turmoil and uncertainty, and Grizzlies fans have embraced every bit of it.

“Slo-mo” has always shown flashes of potential of great point-forward play, and it’s really coming to light this season. Anderson is among the top of the team in almost every major traditional and advanced metric. He has been the definition of a swiss-army knife for this team.

While Slo-mo doesn’t have any stat that really stands out on paper, the team just looks so much better with him on the floor. This is one of those situations where he can be backed up by stats, or you can just watch him play.

Anderson ranks as one of the top defenders on the team, being 5th in defensive rating, and also ranking 2nd in player impact estimate.

Kyle has looked better than ever this season and will definitely be a player to watch have an even bigger second half to the season.
