Desmond Bane is still a rookie. In fact, he’s not even one of the bigger name rookies from the NBA Draft. With a strong season so far, he has gone under the radar despite being one of the most efficient young players in the league.

Even though he has only played a handful of games in the league, he has seemingly brought a veteran presence to this team from the bench. He has room to improve defensively, but he has been an elite 3-point shooter.

He’s going through a slight slump at the moment, but has been shooting around a 50% clip for a majority of this season. That number has leveled out at 44%, but he remains one of the most consistent shooters in the league.

You have to imagine that this number will only continue to rise throughout his career. If it does and if he is given a bigger role on this team, he will definitely receive consideration for this event in future years.
