Despite early injuries to members of the starting lineup, the Memphis Grizzlies have managed to keep a pretty consistent group of guys out on the court to start each game.

But the return of Jaren Jackson Jr. could stir things up. Brandon Clarke will likely be sent to the bench and the rotation carousel of starting power forwards will come to an end.

But will those be the only changes in the starting lineup? The Grizzlies might look to make some key moves upon the return of their star.

A lot of those key moves will come down to rotational changes, but don’t be surprised if we see some shifts in the starting lineup. This team will not be the same with JJJ back in the game. Here is our ideal lineup for the Memphis Grizzlies going forward.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. Ja Morant. PG. 211. PG. 19 PPG

Memphis Grizzlies PG: Ja Morant

Ja Morant is the heart and soul of this Memphis Grizzlies team. Everything he does well, the team does well. When he struggles, the team struggles.

We saw this with his 3-point shot already this year. The team as a whole hasn’t shot too poorly, but their numbers have gone down along with Morant’s significant drop. That being said, his game has improved as a whole, as has this entire team.

He’ll be the guy that gets this team to the playoffs. With the nearing return of Jaren Jackson Jr., his numbers will only continue to improve and hopefully he’ll take this team to their first playoff appearance since 2017.
