The Memphis Grizzlies will look to take on the Denver Nuggets in a game that will be nationally broadcast. Each team has been playing their best basketball of the season, so this one will be a dogfight from start to finish.

The teams have similar talent, each with a strong point guard leading the way. The Grizz have Ja Morant, a guy who is thought of as the future of the NBA, while the Nuggets have Jamal Murray, a player who can kick it into high gear and play better basketball than anybody in the league when he wants to.

The similarities transfer all the way to the center position, where we’ll watch a battle between giants in Nikola Jokic vs. Jonas Valanciunas. While this may have seemed like a lopsided matchup a few weeks ago, Valanciunas would argue otherwise.

The Memphis Grizzlies have hosted entertaining Western Conference matches

Both teams are coming off of a win and they’re looking to fight for a playoff spot, so this will be an emotionally charged game. Western conference battles have not let us down yet this year, so don’t expect that to start now.

The Nuggets have the better record against Western Conference teams, but the Grizzlies have gotten the upper hand in recent matchups.

If we’re lucky, the stars in this game will shine bright and we’ll get a clash between two playoff-caliber teams. Each team is pretty young too, so expect this to have the potential of turning into a future NBA rivalry.

Without any further ado, here are 3 reasons why Grizzlies vs. Wizards will be a great game.
