Memphis Grizzlies vs. Denver Nuggets could be a rivalry of the future

The Memphis Grizzlies are an up and coming team. Everybody knows that. The Nuggets, on the other hand, are more established, but still have a ton of young talent.

That being said, both teams will be contenders in the Western Conference for years to come. The heart and soul of each of these teams are young, so this game isn’t going anywhere.

Ja Morant is 21-years old and Jamal Murray is 24-years old. You have to imagine that we’ll be a decade older, still watching these two battle it out. You could make the same argument for players like Michael Porter Jr. and Kyle Anderson. I could go on and on.

These young rosters are built for the future and should be around for a long time. When you’re sitting back, watching this game, think about the stakes of this matchup in future years. Even right now, it’s hugely important for both squads.

Next. Desmond Bane needs to be a full-time starter for the Grizzlies. dark

We’ll be witnessing the beginning of a long, historical battle between teams that are trying to make a name for themselves for the first time in their franchise’s history.
