The Memphis Grizzlies started off strong coming out of the NBA All-Star break, beating a good Wizards team and completing the season sweep on the squad out of D.C.

There are no breaks in the NBA though, as the Grizz will go on to face another tough team in the Denver Nuggets. They’ll have their hands full with Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, but will look to keep a winning trend.

The Nuggets are 21-15 on the year, coming into FedEx Forum with four straight wins. Most notably, this team defeated the same Milwaukee Bucks team that the Grizzlies experienced a heartbreaking loss against.

These two teams seem extremely evenly matched and it should make for a great game.

Will the Memphis Grizzlies be able to secure another win at home? Our staff weighs in.

Jack Williams: The Memphis Grizzlies have been playing great basketball, but the Denver Nuggets have been playing even better. Both teams are coming in hot and it should make for a great game. That being said, it feels like the Grizzlies are at the start of win streak and the Nuggets are due for a loss. I think Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas continue to play well together and Memphis secures the W.

Final Score: Grizzlies 123, Nuggets 105

Brandon Martinez: The Grizzlies started out the second half of the season with a bang on Wednesday with a win against the Wizards. This will be the Nuggets’ first game since the break, but I think Memphis has some momentum built up from Wednesday that will be used to take down Denver. I think Ja and Bane will both have big games and will lead Memphis to a win at home.

Final Score: Grizzlies 120, Nuggets 114

Taylor Goebel:  The Grizzlies are currently 8-10 against Western Conference teams this year whereas the Nuggets are 13-9. The Nuggets are lead by MVP candidate Nikola Jokic who is the league leader in win shares and BPM at 8.3 and 11.6 respectively. As good as Jonas Valanciunas is defensively I think the Joker is better offensively and think the Nuggets handle the Grizzlies unfortunately.

Final Score: Grizzlies 112, Nuggets 124
