The Memphis Grizzlies have a lot of young talent. It’s not much of a problem, but something that upper management has to look into as this franchise progresses.

With an injury to Jaren Jackson Jr. in the offseason, a handful of young players were thrust into the spotlight. Somehow, each and every one of these guys has exceeded expectations, stepping up to the plate when they were asked to do so.

But what good is there in having a team full of young, similarly skilled players? Wouldn’t it make sense for the Grizz to move some of these guys before the trade deadline and make a playoff push?

In my opinion, the answer is yes. The Grizzlies have a good enough young talent to the point where they are struggling to find a tight rotation. It’s not a problem though, rather, an opportunity to bring in a strong player.

The Grizzlies should look to bring in another veteran presence to eat up minutes in the backcourt. There are plenty of promising players on this team, so it shouldn’t be an issue to find a suitor that is willing to trade with the Grizz.

I’ve already recommended that Memphis goes after Victor Oladipo, but this team has a wide range of possibilities. They have the resources to make a trade, it’s just a matter of whether or not the front office would be interested in going through with it.
