The Memphis Grizzlies are coming off of a tough loss against the Denver Nuggets. The game came down to the wire, but Memphis ultimately couldn’t close out the game.

What most Grizzlies fans will remember though, is some questionable officiating at the very end of the game.

Regardless of whether or not the Grizzlies lost a game because of officiating, their season goes on. There’s no sense in looking back on what could have been any longer.

The Grizz will press on in a game against an Oklahoma City Thunder team that recently traded away a key contributor in Hamidou Diallo. The trade wasn’t a blockbuster deal, but it kicked off trade season in the NBA.

Despite the fact that the Thunder look to be entering tank-mode, they haven’t entirely given up. They’re currently on a 2-game win streak that included a victory over a Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis-less Dallas Mavericks team.

Will the Memphis Grizzlies be able to defeat a vulnerable team? Our staff weighs in.

Jack Williams: The Memphis Grizzlies lost their most recent game against the Denver Nuggets in suspicious fashion. I think they’ll play a motivated game despite their opponent being a struggling team. Ja Morant will have a bounce-back game and Taylor Jenkins’ defense will step up against a Thunder team that has struggled to hit the 100-point mark in four of their past 10 games.

Final Score: Grizzlies 125, Oklahoma City 98

Taylor Goebel: Coming off of a tough 1-point loss to the Denver Nuggets, the Grizzlies look to rebound and continue to make a push for the playoffs. Currently at the 10th and 11th seeds in the Western Conference the Grizzlies and Thunder are both in a crucial game if either team want to make the playoffs. I think the Grizzlies are going to be the hungrier team today and will take home the win.

Final Score: Grizzlies 118, Thunder 112

Brandon Martinez: The Grizz have keep the Thunder backcourt in check. Shutting down SGA and Dort will be crucial to how this game plays out. If Ja and Bane provide offense and play decent defense, along with Jonas doing his thing, this should be an easy win for Memphis.

Final Score: Grizzlies 116, Thunder 101
