Memphis Grizzlies competition for a play-in spot

Like I’ve said, the Grizzlies are in position for a play-in spot, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t lose it. At 17-19, they’re a rough patch away from being knocked right out of their current 10 seed.

Right behind them, you’ll find the New Orleans Pelicans, a team that Grizzlies fans have not stopped thinking about since their 31-point home loss against Zion Williamson and company. Prior to that, the Grizz lost a closer game against this same squad.

The Grizzlies will have another chance to prove that they’re the better team, coming up against the Pelicans again on May 10th in a game that will have huge playoff implications.

Behind the Pelicans, you’ll see the Thunder, who recently beat the Grizzlies, the Kings, the Rockets, and the Timberwolves. None of these teams are particularly threatening, as all of them seem to be approaching tank status.

Next. The Grizzlies have too much depth for their own good. dark

The only team on that list that seems like they could make a push is the Kings, who have a young roster similar to Memphis. In my opinion, the Grizzlies are the best team that I’ve talked about today, but they cannot sit back in a competitive NBA.
