Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. PG. 21 years old. Ja Morant. 1. player. 211

Ja Morant is a generational talent for the Memphis Grizzlies who could become an NBA superstar

At 21 years old, Ja Morant is barely old enough to drink alcohol. Regardless, he has already established himself as one of the better point guards in the NBA.

He still has a long way to go, but he’s been on a great path so far in his professional career. In just his second season, he’s averaging 19.6 points per game, a steal per game, and 7.6 assists per game.

Since his last season, he has increased his production in almost every statistical category, leading fans to believe he can be the franchise player that they’re looking for in Memphis.

Unfortunately though, Morant has hit a sophomore slump in some aspects of his game. Most notably, his 3-point shooting has plummeted after a decent first year. He’s shooting just 25% from long range and it has limited him in other facets of the game.

That being said, he’s still one of the most promising young guards in the league, so his value is through the roof. We won’t see him traded anytime soon, but if it were to happen, it would have to be a blockbuster deal for the former 2nd overall pick.
