The Memphis Grizzlies‘ season has been a rollercoaster. We’ve seen a team that can hang around with anybody in the league, but somehow manage to get blown out by lesser teams.

With a young team, this doesn’t come as a surprise. These players are going through growing pains, so they’ll tend to have up-and-down seasons before they’re truly established in the NBA.

As the second-youngest team in the league, it’s even less surprising that the Grizzlies are arguably the most inconsistent team in the league.

But even having said that, this is still a squad that has some serious firepower on good days, and a ton of really strong talent. It’ll be hard to rank them, but today, that’s what I’m going to try to do. These rankings will solely be based on the team’s performance in the 2021 calendar year.

Before you get into the list, I have to preface things by telling you that these are the players who have had the best seasons so far in a Memphis Grizzlies uniform. This list is in no way an indication of who I think has the most potential or is the best overall player.

Without any further ado, here are the 5 best players on the Memphis Grizzlies roster so far in 2021.

Kyle Anderson. 211. Scouting Report. F. 12.8 PPG. 5. player. Pick Analysis

Kyle Anderson started the year strong for the Memphis Grizzlies, but faded

If you asked me to make this list a month ago, I’d probably have Kyle Anderson in the third spot. Based on how he was playing, he may have even deserved the two spot at the time.

He hasn’t done anything wrong, but he has seemingly disappeared over the past few weeks.

That being said, his impact on this team has been huge. Mid-way through the season, the former UCLA Bruin went through a 10-game stretch where he averaged well over 15 points and had a 25, 5, 5, and 5 game. Yes, you read that right, he had 25 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals.

For some reason, he has disappeared into the shadows, but he can still make a difference on this Grizzlies team.
