How did Memphis Grizzlies F Justise Winslow perform for Duke Basketball?

Unlike Grayson Allen, Justise Winslow was a primary contributor for Duke basketball for the majority of the season. He came to Durham destined for early playing time as a 5-star prospect, ranked 13th in the country and given the honor of being a McDonald’s All-American.

He’d prove to be strong player instantly, scoring double digit points for each of his first five games. He would also show off his defensive prowess, tallying 4 blocks and 4 steals in that same time span.

He’d step up big in the NCAA Tournament for the Blue Devils, scoring double digits in every game that he played significant minutes. This included a 21-point performance in the Sweet Sixteen, a 16-point game in the Elite Eight, and a 19-point showing in the Final Four.

It didn’t stop there either.

In the National Championship, Winslow would only score 11 points, but showed up everywhere else. He’d finish the game with 3 blocks, 9 rebounds and a steal in 32 minutes on the court. Just like Allen, Winslow as a key part of their win in the National Championship game.

But not as big as the next player on the list.
