Memphis Grizzlies F Dillon Brooks has been playing his best basketball

Dillon Brooks has arguably been playing the best basketball of his career over the past few games. After somewhat of a slump, he has bounced back in the best way possible.

On Wednesday night, Brooks was pouring on points. He began the game with an onslaught of free throws and would continue by killing the Thunder in the mid-range game and in the painted area. For a stretch in the third quarter, he couldn’t be stopped.

He would finish the game having shot 8-13 from the field, collecting 25 points in the process.

For those keeping track, this is his third game in a row where he has given the Grizzlies a strong scoring output. It may not stick out on a stat sheet, but those three games all happened to be wins for Memphis.

This is the Grizzlies first 3-game win streak since they took home seven straight at the beginning of the season.

Brooks wasn’t just doing it on the offensive end either. As usual, he was feisty on defense, causing a handful of missed shots and bad turnovers for OKC. This would show up on the stat sheet with a block and a steal in Wednesday night’s contest.

LeBron's injury could have a ripple effect on the Grizzlies. dark. Next

Clearly this team is successful when Brooks is having a strong night, so we’ll look to find some consistency with his performances down the stretch.
