The Memphis Grizzlies will take on the Utah Jazz in a home game on Wednesday night. After two consecutive losses to the Jazz, this will be a revenge opportunity for Memphis.

In the first matchup, the Grizzlies nearly took the game to overtime, falling just short of a massive comeback in Salt Lake City. They wouldn’t have the same energy in the second game, as they trailed for nearly the entire 48 minutes and didn’t look threatening at any point.

Taylor Jenkins and Ja Morant will look to run the Jazz off of their home court in a game that could be interesting.

Can the Memphis Grizzlies snag a win against the Utah Jazz? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams: I used the same logic in the last game, but I think the Grizzlies will play with a chip on their shoulder in this game. Two straight losses against any team will be enough to motivate them to bring energy. I think the Grizzlies will keep things interesting for the full 48 minutes but show their youth at the end. We’ll see good games out of Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks again, but the Grizzlies will fall short. The Jazz will win another close game.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 106, Utah Jazz 110

Brandon Martinez: In two games against the Jazz, one thing stood out in both: the Grizzlies couldn’t stop Donovan Mitchell, allowing 35 points from him in both games. If he can be stopped, the Grizzlies have a chance to win this game. However, Mitchell has been on a roll recently, and without having someone capable of keeping him in check, D-Mitch and the Jazz will keep rolling.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 108, Utah Jazz 120

Caleb Anglin: In the last 5 days, the Grizzlies have played the Jazz twice out of their 3 games played. Both were unfortunately losses. I think the Grizzlies’ win over the Rockets will give them some momentum, even though the Rockets are not great at the moment. As long as they keep Jordan Clarkson from scoring 20+ off the bench. the Grizzlies will get the dub against one of the best teams in the NBA. The Jazz are on a roll, but they will take an L tonight in a close one.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 108, Utah Jazz 107

Thomas Welch: The Grizzlies are back home for the first time in over a week and are hosting the Utah Jazz, who are almost literally on fire. Donovan Mitchell cannot be stopped. Last week he put up 70 against Memphis in two games. I expect he’ll do more of the same. This game will be closer than the last one, being that it’s in Memphis and that the Grizz are coming off a nice bounce-back win, but the Jazz will likely come out on top yet again.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 105, Utah Jazz 116

Taylor Goebel: The Jazz have been on a solid win streak, having won 6 games in a row heading into the game. With how the Jazz have been playing all season, paired with the fact that Jaren Jackson Jr. is still out of the lineup, I think that it would take an offensive onslaught from the Grizzlies to overpower the Jazz and take home the win. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening and think the Jazz win Wednesday night.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 109, Utah Jazz 122
