In the past week, the Memphis Grizzlies have played the Utah Jazz three times. They first had two away games in Salt Lake City, then had a relieving win in Houston, only to return home and play the Jazz in Memphis.

The Grizzlies would not come away with any victories against the NBA’s best team. Because of nagging injuries, Taylor Jenkins’ team was unable to come away with the win against a Utah team that was missing Donovan Mitchell. It was close, but the Grizz fell short.

It wasn’t all bad though. In fact, there are plenty of positive takeaways from this series against the Utah Jazz.

It’s entirely possible that the Grizzlies’ three-game series against the Jazz will do just this for the Grizzlies. We got a glimpse of it against a Houston Rockets team that came to play, but we’ll really find out how this team response later this week.

But beyond that, we learned some valuable lessons from these three games. Here are 3 takeaways from the Memphis Grizzlies’ series against the Utah Jazz.
