The Memphis Grizzlies are better than the Minnesota Timberwolves in one very important category so far this season: basketball. Jokes aside, the Grizzlies will get a break from being pummelled by the Utah Jazz with a Friday matchup against the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves have a strong roster, but they’ve struggled badly this season, recently losing to the ice-cold Houston Rockets.

That said, I still have to give the same speech that I do every time the Grizzlies play a bad team. This is the NBA and there are no breaks. Regardless, the Grizzlies should win this game. They may be undermanned, but they’ll be a better-coached team than the Timberwolves, whose head coach has been in his position for just over a month. This will be an important win for Memphis to get back to .500.
