The Memphis Grizzlies will be pleased with how their road trip has gone so far. After back-to-back wins against basketball teams over .500, they’ll hold all of the confidence in the world against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. That said, they’ll sustain some injuries going into this matchup.

It’s unclear who will be back for their next road game against the Atlanta Hawks, but they’ll get the win regardless. Here’s a list of players who were out against the Miami Heat:

  • Jaren Jackson Jr.
  • Justise Winslow
  • De’Anthony Melton
  • Brandon Clarke

If they can get a couple of these guys ready to play, it could go a long way for a Grizzlies team that is beaten up in the middle of a four-game road trip.

Can the Memphis Grizzlies extend their 3-game win streak? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams (Site Expert): The Memphis Grizzlies have had a great road trip so far, beating two strong teams from the Eastern Conference. I think they’ll take this confidence into Atlanta and beat the Hawks, even if Ja Morant doesn’t play. The Grizzlies have been red-hot and it has been their secondary players that have been stepping up. I think this will be a statement win with strong performances from Dillon Brooks and Jonas Valanciunas once again.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 123, Atlanta Hawks 113

Taylor Goebel: The Grizzlies take on the Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night. Currently 4th in the East, the Hawks are in a solid position to possibly make a deep playoff run lead by Trae Young and John Collins. With Ja Morant leading the way, the Grizzlies look to extend their winning streak to 4 games and look to solidify their push for the playoffs. I think the Grizzlies stay hot and win this one in Atlanta.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 116, Atlanta Hawks 110

Brandon Martinez: With some key injuries on both sides, some players with low expectations will have to play key roles in this matchup between the Grizzlies and the Hawks. With the highlight matchup being between Morant and Trae Young, don’t count out the paint battle between Capela and Valanciunas. Rebounding and control of the paint could be the difference-maker in this one. Valanciunas and Morant will have great games, leading the Grizzlies to another key win.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 115, Atlanta Hawks 105
