The Memphis Grizzlies are coming off of a heartbreaking loss against the New York Knicks. With five minutes left in the game, it looked like they had the game in the bag. Unfortunately, this would turn into a blown lead by the second-youngest team in the league.

Thankfully for the Grizzlies, they’ve shown that they’re capable of bouncing back from ugly performances like this. After a blown lead against a decimated Oklahoma City Thunder team about a month ago, the team was thought to have turned a corner in a bad way. But they didn’t.

They’d follow the Oklahoma City loss with a stretch that saw them win in four of their next six games.

This time, they’ll have an opportunity to bounce back against a very average Indiana Pacers team at home. The Pacers are highlighted by Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis and serve as an extremely pesky team in the Eastern Conference. That said, the Pacers won’t be a pushover against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

After a tiring road trip, the Grizzlies will look to reestablish dominance on their home court.

Can the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Indiana Pacers? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams (Site Expert): The Indiana Pacers are a team that the Memphis Grizzlies should beat. That said, the Grizzlies don’t always win games like this. I think the Grizz will take another loss, as the injuries to Winslow and Melton will finally catch up to them. It may sound dumb, but they’ve been playing too well lately, especially considering certain nagging injuries. The Pacers beat the Grizzlies with ease earlier in the season, so I could see this one ending badly again.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 103, Indiana Pacers 118

Thomas Welch: The Grizzlies are set to host the Indiana Pacers. This seems like a pretty even matchup at this point, so since it’s in Memphis and the Grizzlies have a bad taste in their mouths from an unfortunate blown lead on Friday, I’m giving them the edge in this one. It’s going to be a close one but the Grizz should come out on top and get back into the winning groove.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 111, Indiana Pacers 105
