The Memphis Grizzlies were successful on their recent road trip, going 3-1 away from home. They would lose their last game in disappointing fashion and let that negative momentum carry on to their next game, leading to a two-game skid.

They’ll look to turn their luck in a game against a struggling Chicago Bulls team. On the year, the Bulls are 22-30, led by a young star in Zach Lavine. Lavine averages 27.6 points per game along with 5.1 assists. Slowing him down will be a vitally important part of the Grizzlies’ game on Monday night.

That said, Memphis has a deeper roster from start to finish. The Grizzlies should be winning this game, but they have underperformed against bad teams and overperformed against good teams, so nothing is guaranteed for them.

Will the Memphis Grizzlies be able to take down the Bulls? Our contributors weigh in.

Jack Williams: The Memphis Grizzlies are a better team from top to bottom than the Chicago Bulls. Despite the fact that they underperformed defensively on Sunday night, I think the Grizz will bounce back in a dominant performance at home. Jonas Valanciunas will continue to be a force in the paint and Dillon Brooks will have another good scoring night. I think the Bulls will make a late push, but the Grizzlies will be able to hold them off.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 122, Chicago Bulls 111

Brandon Martinez: The Grizzlies dropped a close game against the Pacers last night and now they’re tasked to beat the Bulls. It should be an entertaining game in the paint with the main matchup being Valanciunas vs Vucevic, but in the end, I think this game comes down to two things: Morant and the bench. If Morant can take advantage of Satoranski and if the bench can do their usual thing and outperform the opponent’s bench, I expect a win tonight.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 114, Chicago Bulls 102

Justin Churchill: The Memphis Grizzlies lost a close one to the Pacers as they almost finished a comeback effort. They had trouble holding Caris Levert to under 30 points and may have an even more difficult task with Zach Lavine. Lavine is on fire as of late, and the Grizzlies’ perimeter defense may only help him continue his streak. In this one, I’m predicting the Grizzlies lose a close one to the Bulls.

Final Score: Memphis Grizzlies 105, Chicago Bulls 110
